Ever since I was a little girl growing up in Peru I’ve had a passion for art. I remember getting my first paint brush set at 6 years old and realizing I now had endless ideas at my fingertips. For me, art was where imagination meets inspiration. It was where creativity through colors brings personalities and things to life. Thanks to the unconditional support my parents gave me in pursuing my dream, painting and designing became my first true love.
In 2013 the most unsuspecting little savior walked into my life: a skinny, four-pound girl with black spots, a wet nose and big ears. From the moment I met her we had an amazing connection. This beautiful chihuahua had been living in an auto body shop, trying to survive from one day to the next. She was very frail, so skinny I could see her ribs. After I heard her story, I knew I had to adopt her. After months of trying to convince her family they finally said yes, and my life changed forever.
Later that year during an especially sad time in my life, “Lalita” and I became inseparable. She licked my tears when I was down and made me laugh when I needed it the most. She taught me what unconditional love truly is, and was a daily reminder to me to always live in the present. This “cosita bella” stole my heart and became my furry best friend.
As the years have passed I’ve bounced around different professions, looking for my one true calling. Throughout everything Lalita has been there right by my side. This is, of course, what dogs do, and this is why we love them so much. Now, today, it’s my turn to give that love back.
What I do
As an artist, communicator and with Lalita as my muse, I decided to launch my company. My goal is simple: to combine my love for art with my love for animals and hopefully bring some of that joy to you and your family. By using your fur baby’s personality as my inspiration, I want to bring hip style to your home or wardrobe and smiles to your family’s faces for years to come. Plus, a portion of every dollar I make will be donated to local animal rescue organizations in need.
So, without further ado, let the fun begin. It’s time to let their pet-sonality shine in pop art!
