Latina artist in the USA

My Story

After I graduated from college in Peru, with a degree in Communications, I moved to the U.S. I was working in different jobs but I wasn't happy. Then in 2013 a fur angel walked into my life: a skinny, four-pound girl with black spots, a wet nose and big ears. From the moment I met Lalita we had an amazing connection. This beautiful chihuahua had been living in an auto body shop, trying to survive from one day to the next. She was so skinny I could see her ribs. After I heard her story, I knew I had to adopt her. After months of trying to convince her family they finally said yes, and my life changed forever.

Later that year, while I was suffering from depression “Lalita” and I became inseparable. She licked my tears when I was down and made me laugh when I needed it the most. She taught me what unconditional love truly is. This “cosita bella” stole my heart and became my furry best friend.

Throughout all these years I was looking for my one true calling. I wanted to do something related to fur babies and to give back all the love that I received from them. So I decided to launch SketchPup! in 2018. My goal is to bring joy to you and your family with my custom pet art, to raise awareness with my designs about adopting, rescuing and fostering animals, plus a portion of all sales are donated to animal rescues. As a rescue mom this is very important to me.
